“I believe that Access to Care has saved my life. I recently lost my job as a health care worker due to cutbacks. I have epilepsy, asthma, depression and COPD. I worked my whole life and was able to maintain a comfortable lifestyle. With my health history, I am completely unable to obtain health insurance, even if I were able to afford it. I work temporary positions when available. Without Access to Care I would be unable to work and would probably have very serious health concerns. I am able to get my medications, which allows me to continue ‘above ground’. The people at my doctor’s office are truly wonderful, caring people. It is nice to be greeted when I walk in the door, and the quality of care I receive is excellent. All because of Access to Care……”
